Introduction
RING (Real Interaction with Neighbors around the Globe) holds “World Students Conference 5th Stage” in Kyoto in December. This is the international symposium organized by students appea ling the importance of dialogue and calling for the attention to international issues.
Purpose
To invite the youth of the world, who want to present the current situation
To inspire participants to have interests in international issues
To assert the importance of “dialogue” and globally expand our network
The specific effect expected
ⅰ) To create the opportunity to start activities for the young in Japanese
For the young Japanese participants, we believe that this event will be a great opportunity to listen to the voice directly from those who have different cultural backgrounds.
And we hope this program will help participants begin to think and to act for solving global issues and understand the variety of values. Furthermore, we also hope that particip
ants will start their actual activities to solve global issues through this event by offering a chance to know NGO and NPO which act actually.
ⅱ) To appeal to the youth all over the world
We expect that the participants recognize the others and understand the importance of “interaction” to solve global issues through talking with other participants with various values and cultural backgrounds.
We wish those participants from all over the world to inspire their companies after this event. We think of not only holding this conference but also expressing ourselves to the world.
ⅲ) Broadening outlook and improving leadership
We will try to help participants, who have noticed the importance of interaction to solve the issues as an individual, to obtain broad outlook leadership so that they can take initiative in the area of international cooperation to solve the global issues.
